I had a fantastic experience at Storage Mart! Maddy was incredibly helpful and made the whole process easy and stress-free. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of her way to ensure I got exactly what I needed. Highly recommend Storage Mart, especially if you get to work with Maddy!
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was so bad I feel compelled to warn others.
I signed up online for a storage unit on July 31st, paid the fees, and signed the lease agreement. Nowhere in the information provided was it mentioned that I needed to check in at the facility in person to keep my unit.
Today, I received an email saying my unit had been released so I called the customer care line. After a 15-20 minute wait, a rude customer service rep transferred me to Farrah, who said she was new and couldn’t be of much help. She mentioned my spot was taken because I didn’t show up in person. I urgently drove to the office as I needed the unit for an upcoming move.
At the office, Maddy insisted I had been informed about the in-person check-in requirement, which I had not. When I showed her my correspondence, she was dismissive and suggested I wouldn't get a refund. Frustrated, I laughed (a stress response), which offended Maddy. She angrily handed me my refund and told me to leave without any apology or acknowledgment of their mistake. I even tried to explain to her that I meant no disrespect but she dismissed me angrily.
StorageMart needs to train their staff better in customer service and ensure their communication is clear and honest.
I have been a customer of StorageMart for years (15+).
For me it is very convenient having a storage unit since I am enjoying a more minimalistic lifestyle.
Today I just wanted to say how much I appreciate Farha and how she is always pleasant whether by phone or in person. She is accommodating and I appreciate her patience. She implements a great and positive attitude and is very good at her job. Not only that — she seems to love her job and is personable too.
I really like being recognized and getting a friendly wave or a hello when I come in. It makes coming it that much more enjoyable.
I got assisted by Maddy today she was a tremendous help! We chatted about the prices, security and safety of my things! She was super polite, professionnel, friendly and knowledgeable! I will definitely be sending my friends to her in the future!

I had the great fortune of meeting with Maddy, the customer service she provided was simply unrivaled. She took great interest in my needs and was able to swiftly and accurate create a viable solution. I can not recommend StorageMart enough, in fact I have sent several people I know here to accommodate their storage needs as well. Well, well, well I recently moved from California to Calgary and someone recommended me to place my some extra Household Items at “STORAGE MART” since I am connected with them. I have wonderful experience with the team especially miss Fara and Miss Madison. Both are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and outstanding spoken personalities.

I rented a unit yesterday, for the first time. The customer service representative was phenomenal, She was courteous and acknowledgeable. The facility is clean and well taken care off. Highly recommend!!!

The lady Farrah at the front desk was amazingly friendly , helpful and knowledgable about everything. Very concise about all the policies. was nice and much needed well, already going through a very busy and hectic season of my life.
Just wanted to say thank you to Madison at the 42nd Ave s.e location for her help with getting me set up with the rental of the unit today. Madison was very pleasant and professional with everything and answer my questions and made sure I knew how to enter and exit, showed me the unit and made sure I was happy with everything.

The staff were polite and very helpful in helping me set up my storage unit and giving me a tour of the facility. Access to the site is cramped between the gate and the office but that's a minor thing once you have your access code. Once inside, it's clear sailing and easy to load and unload things. Thanks Tracy! As for pricing, well, it costs money to heat and light a place for climate controlled storage so, pony up.

Sukhpreet was really nice and helpful when we stopped by, answered our questions, and was all around just extremely friendly which made us feel welcome. They also helped us with over the phone service, recommending the type of unit we should get and ect.
The manager Daniel was so patient and helpful when I had an issue with a refund, and then went over and above to get me the best deal possible for the locker I rented omg. Seriously this guy was so awesome it literally is the most positive interaction I have ever had with someone who works with the public on a daily basis!!! Imo this guy definitely deserves a raise, thank you so much Daniel for all your help and for having such a great sense of humor too.
I looked everywhere for appropriate storage for my family’s new business and kept coming up short. Storage at StorageMart is clean, well-lit, accessible and reasonably priced. Staff are prompt and professional, very easy to deal with. I recommend StorageMart on 42nd to anyone in need.
The manager was really helpful in setting up a storage locker for me on short notice and doing the paperwork while I was on speakerphone with her while I drove so it was ready to sign when I arrived. This enabled me to get the storage secured for that day before they closed for the weekend. She gave us a lot of helpful info and was very friendly with us even though we were really late in the day. The location itself is very clean and well kept as well.
